About
The PSO-1 Mobile Demethanation Station is designed for units that conduct periodic demethanation of workings. It is also dedicated to companies that carry out methane removal by using drain holes from the surface. In addition, PSO-1 can be used to capture landfill gas (LFG) from a landfill. It consists of three containers to be installed on foundations prepared in advance, and it is characterised by unmanned operation, with the ability to transmit the operating parameters (in a wired or wireless manner) to an external control panel or dispatch system. Each container has a distinct function in the gas capture process:
- Power, switchboard and control cabinets are placed in the control room container (No. 1). Thanks to a modern control system, the devices can be operated remotely, and the data can be transmitted in real time over any distance. An ice water unit located here is responsible for maintaining proper temperature of the gas-cooling liquid.
- The gas compression container (No. 2) is a soundproof chamber that houses the blower unit along with silencers and a gas cooler.
- The gas treatment container (No. 3) contains a gas separator with a filtration system, and a flame arrester.
