About

The Modular Demethanation Station consists of ready-made, technically optimised modules selected according to the investor’s needs. The kit which serves the function of a demethanation station forms a compact and aesthetically pleasing object, which needs only a gas and power supply connection for start-up at the destination. The solution also has the advantage of reducing construction work to the necessary minimum.

The Modular Demethanation Station consists of ready-made, technically optimised modules selected according to the investor’s needs. The set (min. 3 basic modules), acting as a ground-based rock mass demethanation station, forms a compact and aesthetically pleasing object, which needs only a gas and power supply connection for start up at the destination. The advantages of the solution include reducing construction work to the necessary minimum, the quickness of installation, and flexibility in terms of gas capture amount. The following discernible types of modules are combined in the following order (*—basic modules):

Depending on the number of gas compression modules (from 1 to 4), its capturing ranges from 5 to 160 Nm3/h.

In the event of planned expansion by a cogeneration system or the supply of gas to an external customer, the station should be supplemented with a standardised gas cooling module.

If it is not possible to predict the volume of the captured gas, or the manner of its future utilisation, the standardised segments allow for easy expansion of the set by additional modules.

The control room module houses power, distribution, and control cabinets. All signals from the sensors installed on the MS0-1 enter this module, are recorded, analyzed, and processed. Thanks to the modern control system, there is no need to directly operate the device during operation. The station can be programmed remotely, and data is transmitted live to the system or to a computer located anywhere.

The gas treatment module includes a filtering system that ensures proper gas purification. A flame arrester protects the station against possible explosion transmission. Throttles and valves allow for the control and regulation of gas flow. The precipitated water is directed to a dehydrator, which is then discharged outside the container via a solenoid valve.

The container has numerous sensors installed in the gas piping, which measure pressure, temperature, and gas concentration in the pipelines and within the container. There's also a turbine gas meter used to measure the amount of gas flowing.

The gas compression module contains a Kubiczek 3DPA80BG-250 blower unit driven by CELMA electric motors. The number of these modules depends on the customer's requirements in terms of the amount of gas captured, ranging from 5 to 160 Nm3/min. It should be noted that their number (1-4) can be increased as customer demand increases.
The module containing the cooling system is installed in the remaining modules when there is a need to supply gas to an external customer or when MSO-1 will cooperate with a cogeneration system.
