About
The PS35 controlled hydraulic jack with a pulling force of 350 kN is designed for installing pipes or cables in a diameter range of ø32 to ø225 (ø 315*) mm, by means of a trenchless method, without the use of drilling fluid. The installation of pipes can be accomplished in two ways:
- from a trench of specific dimensions, which allows for taking full advantage of the machine’s capabilities; depending on the method and precision of installation, the course of the installation and the type of soil, the range can reach even up to 100 m.
- from the surface, using an auxiliary frame anchored in the ground; due to the limited bearing capacity of soil, this method is used for the installation of short (< 30 m) and small-diameter (≤ D110) cables; the advantage of this solution is that there is no need for an installation trench, for which support equipment (such as an excavator) is required..
Thanks to the use of a radiolocation system, controlled by a remote, equipped with a directional head and a probe, obstacles in the form of existing infrastructure can be avoided, and the required path profile can be obtained while drilling a pilot hole..
Additional accessories include a wide range of tools supporting the installation of pipes using the trenchless method:
- expansion slabs (front, back) increasing the bearing capacity of the soil in the excavation,
- extension cup sets with handles for D63–D315 pipes,
- bursting heads for pulling a new cable through old pipes (Pipe Bursting).
