About

The PSO-1 Mobile Demethanation Station is designed for units that conduct periodic demethanation of workings. It is also dedicated to companies that carry out methane removal by using drain holes from the surface. In addition, PSO-1 can be used to capture landfill gas (LFG) from a landfill. It consists of three containers to be installed on foundations prepared in advance, and it is characterised by unmanned operation, with the ability to transmit the operating parameters (in a wired or wireless manner) to an external control panel or dispatch system. Each container has a distinct function in the gas capture process:

PSO-1_1_1
Container No. 1 houses the power supply, distribution, and control cabinets. All signals from the sensors installed on the PSO-1 enter this cabinet, where they are recorded, analyzed, and processed. Thanks to the modern control system, there is no need to directly operate the device during operation. The machine can be operated remotely, and data can be continuously transmitted to the system or a computer located anywhere. Furthermore, a chilled water unit is located here, responsible for maintaining the appropriate temperature of the gas cooling fluid.
Kontener 2
Container No. 2 is a sound-absorbing enclosure containing an SCRBS 135/V-ATEX2 blower unit with silencers and a gas cooler. The blower is responsible for creating the appropriate depression and then compressing the gas for further transmission to the recipient or exhaust. The cooler's function is to maintain the set gas temperature during the Station's operation.
Kontener 3
Container No. 3 houses a gas separator with a filter system, ensuring proper gas purification. A flame arrester protects the station against possible explosion transmission. Dampers and valves allow for the control and regulation of gas flow. Furthermore, a large gas circuit has been installed to ensure the extraction of very small amounts of gas. The precipitated water is directed to a dehydrator, which is then released outside the container by a solenoid valve.

The container is equipped with numerous sensors installed in the gas piping. Their function is to measure pressure, temperature, and gas concentration in the pipelines and within the container.
