A properly designed network of demethanation pipelines is the basis of a properly functioning demethanation system. By extending the network to places of potential methane capture, due to the use of negative pressure, we create the opportunity to convey a methane-air mixture from underground workings to the surface, to a demethanation station.

Through their constant analysis and monitoring of the parameters of the captured gas, our personnel regulates the network and the level of capture from individual locations in order to utilise the gas potential of a given production area as efficiently and effectively as possible. The work we perform on the demethanation network, such as regulation of the network, maintenance, pipeline drainage and refitting, resulting from the progress of mining and preparatory operations, allows for effective operation of the demethanation network, which translates directly into the safety of the working crew.
