Planning and implementation of demethanation technologies

We develop conceptual designs for methane emission reduction systems and their individual components, along with presentation of detailed cost estimates.

Even in the absence of any demethanation in a mine, our engineers will conduct an audit intended to determine what methane hazards the mine may encounter in the course of its mining operations, and whether it can turn this threat into an opportunity for permanent extraction of an energy raw material.

We develop models that form a basis for a technical and economic analysis for the implementation of comprehensive demethanation, the construction of a complete methane emission reduction system, demethanation stations or cogeneration systems.

Depending on the customer’s needs, we deal with the planning and implementation of demethanation technologies comprehensively, or cooperate in this regard with the planning departments of mines.

After getting acquainted with the detailed operating conditions of a mine or a specific mining area, as well as the scale of the occurrence of methane hazards, we are able to select an optimal demethanation technology and prepare plans for both the entire system and the technology for conducting operations.

We take into account all the identified conditions and, depending on them, we design the necessary infrastructure and prepare drainage drilling plans, selecting the appropriate number of drainage holes, their location, length, directions and angles at which they are to be drilled, the manner of their execution, protection and connection.
